You come to me in the night
You linger in my dreams.
You whisper words to me
Words of hope and love.
I see you face before me
It is there in my dreams.
Always smiling
Always loving.
Always the same face,
Always waiting for me.
Why can't you be real for me
Why aren't you here right now.
And when will the daylight comes
And you are no longer a dream.
That will be our time
That will be our life.
But for now,
I long for the night
When my dreams come again.
I long to be with you
In these dreams of mine.
