time is my enemy
time is my friend
it's the nature of the beast to be both
weak and strong
all of my longings my hopes and my dreams
are eaten up by this monster that has no face
Time where have you gone
what have you done with me

I used to be honest i used to be calm
the nameless dragon has taken it all
what used to be sexy now is morose
I am drowning in my own spiral fall
when I can no longer stand this worker of fate
i turn to my mirror who tells me no lies. there is the woman I long to be.
but time is no stranger and time is no friend. and i wonder who will win in
the end.
i lose the battle ; its history it's done
time ticks on by me and I watch life move on
i am but a vapor ; i'm here for a second
then my life's over and time carries on.
