Daybreak, it's morning
The sun rises
And I awake to find
I've slept in your arms.

Peaceful was my slumber
Silent and soft.
Never before
Have I slept so well.

Your breathing is slow
You sleep on still.
I watch you sleep
Marveling in the wonder of it.

Last night was glorious
And the day has begun.
I'll go thru the day knowing
I will sleep in your arms again.
