Stitched Silk Sheets

I lay here in the dark,
Covered in sewed silk sheets.
Each thread carefully put together.
Each thread having a part of my life.

Thread by thread,
I’m now stitched together.
Some stitches of depression.
Some stitches of happiness.

The more I’m stitched together,
The longer and wider I become.
The longer and wider I become,
The faster I fall off the surface.

The corners of me fall slowly
Each one dripping to the floor
I’m still being stitched together
Only now, I don’t want any more.

More and more of me falls to the floor..
And then you walk through to door..
You realize you stitched me too much,
So you tuck me back in under my silk sheets

I love you forever
For you put me together
and keep me on the surface,
I love you forever
