Try hard not to forget the past
But the waters raising all to fast
Life is love and love is life
Funny how I wanted to be your wife
You’ve invaded my soul
Now your gone, it’s become and inevitable hole
I was there, your true self need to hide
Adults my comments so snide
I loved you
And changed too
But it just wasn’t good enough
I never became emotionally tough
You were simply god, you left nothing
You just walked away acting like a king
Your harsh words hurt like a slap
They left in my heart a big gap
The tears bled from my eyes
As the little child lays down and dies
