A Thousand Eyes

Bright light, night's beautiful stare, a thousand eyes, the heavenly
glare
Dancing clouds, befriend the lights, they gather nearly every night
kind whispers in the wind, telling secrets to the comets zooming out and
then in
prancing stars, twinkle bright, bring your light into the night
i shall wait until morning's sunrise to see the planet, pluto, rise
and when it does, i'll think of you, and every star that describes you
sweet morning sky, so true and blue, flying dove reminds me of an angel like
you
city lights, no where to be seen, but the lit candle inside of me
scent so strong, the heat painfully drawn like that of the afternoon's
sun
evening's castle surrounded by fairies, friend of stars, prepare their
landing
the night's blanket covers the sky, the light's take off from the
castle and begin to fly
on their journey to blackened skies, the energy inside me comes alive
breath like the summer's breeze, graceful as the petals of a rose
the darkness around me begins to close
when i look up at summer's sky, i'll be staring into your eyes
