We Use To Be Friends

We just stand there in silence
You have nothing to say
It's weird how quickly a couple of words changed everything
We use to be friends
But you just walked away
I tried to help you but you had nothing to say
The silence it kills me
It makes these cuts more deeper
You may not see them but they continue to bleed
We use to buddies
Friends till the end but no one knew how close we were then
Now things are changing
There just not the same
I try to stop our friendship from ending but there was just no way
We became closer then usual
More then just friends
I told you my feelings but you continued to pretend
You finally noticed
Heard me out straight
You looked at me softly
There was no more hate
Then later we got closer
I was about to give in
I told you I couldn't
I knew this wasn't him
I thought he would get angry but he said understands
He grabbed my hand slowly led me somewhere different
We stood there in silence
No answer for words
You told me you loved me
I couldn't believe what I heard
I told him I loved you
He gave me a kiss
We walked in the darkness
Walking together in complete bliss
