Like the Devil

Smile and walk away,
They wont see my pain today.
Daddys little angel
With hair of bronze and gold.
Smile like the devil
With all the lies you told.
Oh how they love you,
Unable to see your flaws.

Have you no shame?
Cant you see me?
Behind the mask, the pain, the lies,
There is someone strong enough to try and hide.
But soon you will be found,
Lost among your own mind.

She never was and never can be,
Yet somehow shes fooled them into believing she is me.
Behind that face,
Lies a heart of stone,
Slowly crumbling away...
A mind of useless, melted clay.

Swallowed up in the sounds of silence,
The night roars out in triumph,
Slowly blade meets flesh....
And another life is lost this night.
