Comforted you when you were feeling blue

When you needed assurance to ease your mind
Held you close to me and treated you kind

You were feeling betrayed by your friend last night
I told you "don't worry, everything will be alright"

Picked you up when you were feeling down
Made you laugh whenever I was around

When you cried at nights and needed a hug
Wrapped my arms around you nice and snug
