I sit there and cry
never knowing it was your last day
the last day for us to be together
to just be ok
I never thought this would happen
never thought it would be like this
I remember every moment
every second I did not miss
I was in your arms
I felt so warm inside
we stood there in the darkness
we watched the day go by
we just stood there together
just stood there as one
never knowing what would happen
never knowing what would have been done
we just continuing standing there
you just held me tight
but something broke the silence
something sent a cold chill through the night
they just came and grabbed you
they took you away
I remember you being dragged slowly
I begged them to let you stay
we used to be so perfect
we used to be just one
but now our life came shattering down to pieces because of some man with a
gun
he slowly came behind you
just dragged you away
then they pulled the trigger
I couldn't watch because I knew my heart would ache
after that was silence
they just ran away
I stood there watching in horror
watching the same image play
I ran over to you
ran over in tears
just looking at you made my heart sink deeper
I couldn't even think
couldn't get my head clear
I tried to call someone
but no one really cared
we continued to lay in silence
I just wished someone was there
but someone finally listened
someone finally cared
they picked up the phone and answer
they said they would be there
some hope had came
something could be right
I knew how much you were in pain
I just told you to fight the fight
they rushed over and tooked you
dragged you some where safe
I sat there thinking why couldn't we be in a different time and place
hours later they came out but they had nothing to say
they just looked at me and said sorry
he just was to far for us to save
I feel down crying
he told me it was okay
said he was in a better place now
said he was someone who was great
but just just those words had hurt you
You just couldn't be ok
if only people came together instead of fighting with such rage
if only people could just here the truth instead all the rumors spread like
plagues
but no one really listened and that was there mistake because of that you
suffer
you were left in heart ache
