i opened my eyes this morning
as the sun was shinging threw my window
as i got out of bed
i view the world below
today was when i reliezed
i was happy to be alive
through everything that happened this summer
i am so glad i survived
i have learned people will judge
all call you false names
but they can't see what's underneath
because they are blind
and it's something above their belief
everytime a new rumor is started
i will brush it off
because i am living my life to the fullest
i'm finally on the path i have charted
i am finally able to smile
without covering up unhappiness with false lies
i can see this world in a brand new light
and all the things around me are beautiful in my eyes
i know i have done wrong
but i learned to not give up without a fight
so goodbye to these tears
open up my freedom
and i'm embracing my fears
i am finally living
and for all my sins
god is forgiving
