Spring Shower

Within your world
I lie awake
I wonder where it began
Starting with you
ending in this
this being your last judgement
my last testament
our last hopes
ending like a spring shower
lingering to be enjoyed and remembered
kept as a memory in a rain drop
with our memories falling upon the curious
seeing, hearing our story
when your love was brought upon me
weighing me down like armor yet so light
then with a thrust of your hand
my heart shattered
you put me here
you brought me this token
proving to me you trusted me
yet with no trust for you I declined
you shall feel
you shall suffer
feel my sorrow
live my world
come into my world
see what has become of me
what's more than seen
must be understood
hear my shattered hear beat
here the rain drops never cease
bringing one love yet two sorrows at once
when you are drenched in misery
soaked with all the sadness that has fallen
then tell me I'm wrong
tell me it's okay
tell me something
something other than my time will come
tell me it has happened
if not than do not say you feel my pain
do not say that I am lost
because never have I been so found
but what I have found is you
staring at me
I love you but you don't understand
my emotions were too strong
you can't be serious
so here we are
back in your world
with me accepting your token
with another spring shower filling the air
my memories wash away
