Alone With You

Alone with you, I begin to wonder
Where we'll be years from now
and years ago, did we see ourselves here
Back then I was looking for something, it was you I found
it seems so strange to look back
Seeing where it was we were then
Yet how will I see this in the future
Being so much closer to my end
Will you still care, will it still matter
Will I be alive to see any of it
Will I learn love's true power, or
Will I learn a horrible truth and will I be ready for it

Alone with you, I forget to care
No moment is more precious than this
This time here, is time in heaven
You're my angel, my fire burns from your kiss
Your love gives air to my every breath
Past and future don't exist, just you and I
I'll live right now til no time's left
Eternity wouldn't be long, if
I could stay with you that long
Because my love will never die
For as long as I'm here nothing's wrong
So long as you're there, I'll get by
