I reach out into the cold air
I’m desperately hoping to find you there
No warmth
Pulling my hand back, I sit in the same position
Lonely
I listen to winter’s sounds; pretend it’s your voice
Comfort
Looking to find your heart
Too far to reach
Closing my eyes, I take myself from reality
Your embrace
Sweet caress, nothing to resist
Heaven
Your steady breathing, and the rhythm of your heart
My lullaby
Darkened shadow, you attempt to leave
Sadness
My promise to lurk those shadows with you, I shall keep
We are one
Your life depending on others
Mine
I’d do anything for you
The depth of my love
Your sympathy for my life
My failure
My tears that fall when I insist on it
No obligation
One intoxicated kiss
Stuck in the moment
You look to the darkened woods
My weakened body
Find myself following you
My own free will
No light to be seen again
My desire
You turn to stop me
Death’s warning
Darkened eyes of yours
Lost
My body growing weaker
No resistance
The power you have over my soul
Beautiful
One last kiss I give
Revived
A kiss returned
Alive
Your hand in mine; into the darkness
Committed
Loving embrace around me
Bliss
Giving my life to you
Pain and pleasure
Mixed emotions; furious, love, hate, guilt, pain, pleasure, spirited
Forever
Fall to my death; I shall rise again soon
Eternity
Opening my eyes
Reality
Sitting in the same position; reaching out into the air
Ghost
