Runaway Me

I ran far
I ran fast
I ran to where the live
no longer last

I cried
then wiped tears
for in this place
there is no room for fear.

The wind blew,
I knelt at your grave,
and I knew it was s sign
to be brave.

If you were here
it wouldn't be the same
If you were still alive
I wouldn't feel all this pain.

I look at your headstone
I run my fingers over the name
"Emil Ginther"
is what it claims.

I miss you
If only I could talk to you
I'd tell you everything
if only you knew

I look behind me
I want to stay
but I know this is my cue
to runaway
