A Wish

A phone call from a father in the hospital.
A daughter not able to come to her fathers side.
The one wish he made.
He wanted:
A Blue eye, Red head, Snotty noise,
Freakle face, little girl born on his birthday.
In 1984 on June 20th at 6:30 pm.
His wish came true.
As the little girl grew up, he didn't let anyone hurt his baby.
He made her anything she wanted.
Now fifteen years later he's fighting for his life. He's only eight years
old.
But I'll always love and remember him.
He taught me everything I know about life and guys, and the way they treat
people. He said one day I'll find my mister right.
