The earth sleeps silently
Around me.
I lie awake and listen
To the sounds.
There is nothing more precious
Than silence.

Somewhere in the night
You are.
You live, you breathe,
And I love you.
What is it that draws me
To you?

In the silence of the night
I think of you.
There are so many things
To think of.
Like the earth sleeping silently
Around me.
