Heart of Stone

With every teardrop that you cry
You blink away the pain that you feel
It falls to the floor in puddles of hate
like a dagger driven through your heart
Twisting and turning to deepen the wound
you close your eyes tightly to block the madness
but visions of him toys with your emotion
danced before you like wolves in sheep clothing
tampering with the cool nature that screams revenge!
when you think of the pain he caused
you clench you teeth as a hungry lion would
craving his blood to fuel your burning rage
then you remember, this is not how it should be
how dare He turns this fragile heart
into a heart of stone that could never love again?
