I wish I could tell the world how I felt,
Sum it up in one little word,
Wishes and dreams may seem to help,
But to my problem there is no cure,
I want to show the inside of me,

The hurt, the pain, the scars,
I want to show them what I’m made of,
I want them to search my heart,
I want them to look past the fat,
I want to see someone truly love me,
And for once show someone who I really am,

All the dirty looks and whispers,
Yeah, they really truly hurt,
I want you all to see,
Let me lead u down my path,
Please, just once, at least

I’ll show you my family, my life, my dysfunction,
Ill teach u the meaning of hurt,
And show you what words can do,
This is the me only few do see,
My nothing-ness of giggles,
There not always what they seem to be,
My disguise for the darkness,

It’s so hard to let u see,
To the world I’m just one person,
But to one person you may be their world,
This is how I feel right now,
I wish I could show you my world,
