Today she pulled the trigger
Said goodbye to her bestfriends
made peace with her enemies
told him her last i love you
and that was that

it seemed like only yesterday
she was happy and new
who ever knew what that one guy could do..

today the blood pours
over and over again
she was so alone
no real place to call home

no stitch could not mend
all the pain and hurt
bottled inside her restless soul

Why did he have to go there?
and say words so cold?
Did he know the damage he was about to do?
To her once true heart?

She was a broken down ship waiting for her last call..
Waiting for that one last pill to swallow
or the one last bottle to gallop..

so young and free
yet so harsh and morbid
she knew death was peering around its one last dark corner

today he crossed the line
like any other
but nor did he care
all she wanted was love
someone who would care for her
make her want to live..
he didnt bother with sorry..
or a simple hug..

Today was enough for her
her cuts stopped bleeding
there were no more bottles to open
or scars to hide..

A huge mystery..
why would she do it?
what ate her helpless soul?
day after day..

It's late now..
he dosen't feel bad
nor believe she's actually gone

Today she pulled the trigger..
