It hurts too badly,
I can’t take it anymore, sadly.
With this I say goodbye,
I slit my wrists,
And now I die.
No more tears to cry.

The blade was too dull,
I guess it took no toll.
My blood still does pump,
And my body’s a dump.

I can’t feel it anymore,
I’m tired of keeping score.
One more tally,
One more scar.
Now to seal the exhaust pipe
Into the car.

When blood does trickle
from my mouth,
I’ll find out
what this life
was all about.

Yours truly,
The one you didn’t know.
