my face is melting off
dripping to the paper forming words
i'll try and make something of them
you see a statue while i see memories
i'd wish for happiness to you all
but honestly i want you to feel this
selfish as it may be
it trudges along through me and wont leave
are we born with sin
or do we acquire it
it all comes down to the half empty cup
just empty it out on this sheet
wipe away the words
they're bound to be lost anyways
along with the sun, moon, stars, and dirt
it'll burn, incinerate, turn to ash and float
will you suck me dry or give me life
fill the trench up, add a river to the blank list
pay it off, sing along with a sweet symphony
pay it off, find yourself an epiphony
