She sits a lone under a tree,
Thinking how could this be?
The little girl is crying,
because everyone is lying.

"Why does this happen to me?
Don't they know that I can see,
What really going on?
Why must I sing this sad song?"

They push me down,
They keep me away.
This I have found,
During each day.

The girls at school laugh and tease,
They go about their day as they please.
They watch her as she screams and cries,
They watch her as she slowly dies.

Each day she goes home,
And sits under this tree all alone.
She sits with he journal pouring out her heart.
Where did this all start?

In this journal you will find,
A poem of every kind.
Usually about all the hate and lies,
and why she always cries.

One day I saw that lonely tree,
and thought why wasn't it me?
For one day she broke.
She lost all hope.

She no longer sits under the tree.
She sits in heaven watching me.
Because I was her friend,
and I will love her till my end.

I will join her in the skies,
and she won't worry about any lies.
We'll be happy together,
as we float away, light as a feather.
