All alone in the big lonely world
No ones there to hold you anymore
Tuck you in at night
And tell you a bed-time story
Toys and play time are over
All that life is now is work
No time for fun
No time for your favorite things

Lost
Looking for someone to hold
Someone to love and hold you tight
And read you your favorite bed-time story
But when you search
Nothing is there
Because you’re lost
All alone in the big lonely world

No more blankets
Teddy bears
And best friends forever
Forced to corporate offices
And late nights at work
Never finding time
For someone to hold you tight
And tuck you in at night
Just one more time
Tonight
