The pain and the tears,
Through blood and years,
Today fog who I am,
I don’t understand.

Today it’s your fault,
Yesterday, mine.
Tomorrow it won’t matter,
Cause we’ll all be just fine.
All will be forgotten,
Or will we pretend?
Covering up wounds,
To be reopened again.

Feelings are hurt,
Hearts broken,
Tears spoken,
Wounds opened.
Apologies made,
Bitterly and forced,
Only taken to end,
And later reopen.
This is the cycle of life,
Our devotion.

So what should I do?
Apparently avoid you.
It will always be present,
It destroys me,
Causes me to retort, see?

I whisper in sweet depression,
My mind feeling anti-you,
As my obsession.
They think, they thought
It was a big deal,
But know not,
The fact remains,
What you taught.

Living with the hate,
Beautiful and torn,
Inside of me,
a new beast is born.
Because the pain and the tears,
Through blood and the years,
Today fog who I am.

Feelings are hurt,
Hearts broken,
Tears spoken,
Wounds opened.
Apologies made,
Bitterly and forced,
Only taken to end,
And later reopen.
This is the cycle of life,
Our devotion.
