I know you are too.
I sense that you’re there
Your blood pumping through.
You’re someone who truly cares,
I can feel and taste your tears.
With my mind, I embrace you.
Try to ease your pain.
Realizing you can’t feel me,
I cannot sustain.

Feeling your love,
My mind flew.
I knew you felt me there,
It was then I had no fear.
I reached out for your hand,
Stretching our as far as I could,
When our fingers finally touched,
I knew it felt the way it should.
I embraced you and it was done.
