Somewhere between here and there,
Lives an idea that can't compare.
Reigned in by life's dispair
For I have chosen not to care.

Deeds are done
Choices made.
Can't you see
My life's undone.

Where is the time of my youth.
Something of which I have no proof.
Left alone upon the roof.
Alone with only the naked truth.

I've cheated death
Only now to die
A little each day
Deep down inside.

Concious of pain left behind.
Of my life I am now blind.
Upon the sand I will not find
Anything sane inside my mind.
