tonight your eyes
are shining brighter
than the ray of hope that floods through your thoughts
on those cold december nights when everything was dark
except the moon that lights the sky

tonight we're free like little kids
who dont just jump off buildings with tears in their eyes,
they cast off into the stars

tonight i want to be apart of
your flesh and bones,
i want to seep inside you so i can never feel the cold
