I caught a raindrop for you.
Sour in taste, so tragically blue.
I soaked my fingers in your sweat.
Feeling honored to be within your debt.
Now I can taste a sign of regret;
Upon your lips when times forgets.
Do you really want to dig deeper into me?
Or run farther into madness, away from me?
I smile in your presence.
My mind is so intense.
I separated a river for you.
Cross it before it collides in two.
I can smell a splash of doubt,
Upon your body, in and out.
Why are you here if you’re so unsure?
Isn’t this exactly what you hope to endure?
I cleaned up a trail of blood from you.
Not to worry you, I lie saying it wasn’t you.
Oh you could never be so perfect.
Even during times of regret.
Maybe I’m the blind one.
You’re disguise was made and done.
Can you persist with what you feel?
When can you admit to me they’re real?
I fed the words “good bye” to you.
Don’t act full, it’s nothing new.
