The winds of change
have stolen my youth
I talk with friends
still I seem older and wiser
I am still my wild self
but, things have changed
I can no longer make a mess
and not clean it up
or watch cartoons
without feeling strange
The winds of change
became a heavy blow
But now I know
how hard it is to grow up
and become an adult
to take care of myself
and live my own life
