The other ending

Just one last breath,
One sentence to speak,
The light is getting bright,
And my body is weak.

No more needles,
No more pain,
I finally realized,
I've lost this game.

Life was a gamble,
The odds I had to defeat,
I thought I could win,
But instead I was beat.

It's okay mom and dad,
Please don't cry,
If I had it in me,
I would say goodbye.

But my mouth isn't moving,
And my voice is gone,
Do I get $10 dollars,
For being quiet this long?

This is the other ending,
My life could have had,
But instead I'm here living,
My pain in the past.
