Counting every little thing she said
About my ways, about my life
She always joked and played along
Thinking she could get the laughs

All she had to do was say
"Id like to see you smile that way
That way you do when you see your prey
The prey you love and always miss
The girl you love to hold and kiss"

She'd steal a second glance at me
Of course id have no time to see
If thats how she felt, if she needed me
Worthless hours spent trying to find the words
Dramatic conversations telling her
"I love you so, please dont go"
I learned i'll never say goodbye to this beauty again
