Have you seen the full moon rise?
On the banks of the waters edge,
Its silver rays are transparent ghosts
Which are truly dead,
Its beauty holds a glory,
Which is impossible to grace,
Its stunning appearance,
Which dances a silent pace.
Have you seen the full moon dance?
Across the silent sky,
Its brilliance whispering to the timid beat,
Of days and nights gone by,
It stifles music of decay,
Which makes young lovers weep,
And softens the nightmare,
Which rides through children’s sleep.
Have you seen the full moon love?
To the Father Star,
Sending off her radiance,
To the miles far,
Giving off the windy fragrance,
Which is sent into the fields,
And Pan starts to play the melody,
To those of the unreal.
Have you heard the Full Moon sing?
Songs of graceful sorrow,
Letting out the message,
There will be no tomorrow,
And when the tune is played by harp,
That of which we love,
Has to give an elegant bow,
To return when darkness falls.
