. . .I have thought of this
over and over and over so many times before
I would like to make it all stop
the visions flashing
again and again
in my mind, endless
asking always Why?
vivid details shown, as the pain is felt
and I am there
transported back in years
to witness it all again
from a child’s view, still feeling adult pain
to watch, and to be able to still do nothing as an adult
hurts. . . .
and so the cycle begins
over and over and over and over again. . . . . . . . .
