A World Ripped to Pieces

I sit there thinking about the things I’ve done
Just wishing I could change everything and everyone
I watch as my life is cast right in front of my eyes
Watch as the only human thing left in me dies

In the end it’s all a sham
But everything is broken
Your perfect image ripped to pieces
Everything you plan becomes unclear
In the long run we all end up misguided
Only left to reminisce in your fears
You continue to sit there as your end draws more and more near

Left alone
Cast out
As your perfect little world is cut and thrown away
You finally open your eyes to the real world
Your left looking at the mess you made
