she left, the town she grew up in. she left a note for her mother.
her hopes ran high for a chance to start a new life.
she walked down the winding dirt road, with only her thoughts to console
her.
wondering if this was right choice to make.
she ventured on.
she found the forest was in the way of which the wind blew.
so she went in.
after walking a good distance she began to feel tired and hungery.
as she was thinking this she came to a small clearing.
there was a small trickling spring, dozens of blooming flowers, and plenty
of shade.
she decidedto rest here.
she sat down against a yound tree and pulled some bread and cheese out of
her sack. and as she calmly and quietly ate her lunch, she saw a young doe
coming to drink from the spring.
she just watched it.
it watched her.
she felt stupid but did it anyway, she talked to it.
saying "it's alright, i won't hurt you, i promise. i just
want a friend. you look alone and scared. be my friend will you?"
the deer continued drinking then lifted it's head. it slowly walked
towards her.
it layed down next to her.
she slowly leaned against it.
before she knew it she had falled asleep.
