Farewell

Right before the sun fades away,
In this silent moment
Frost covers the fragile flowers
Around you.
The darkness is everlasting as I open my eyes,
In understanding
That what I’ve dreamt,
Is true.

He’s all mine.
My sweetest one.
His light burns my eyes.
He’s all mine.

In my arms, I hold you
For the last time.
In the icy weather
I rest by your side.
If you could only,
Just only hear
What’s in my heart.
And how I couldn’t go on
Without your love.

The overpowering sorrow in my heart
Declares the time for mourning.
The sky grows even darker.
All I ever wanted
Was today to be gone
Forever.
Though you’ll always be mine.
All mine.

And for the very last time,
So tightly I hold you
In my arms.
And for the very last time
I kiss your ice-covered lips.
For the first time…
