Everyone is screaming no
but I listen to my heart
only this time I can't hear it
Its lost in a sea of voices
I close my eyes to concentrate
but all I see are faces
Telling me what to think
Should I succumb to them?
Fall into my place in their eyes?
Or should I try to find my heart,
hear it's faint call?
People telling me to think,
but only what they want.
This time I'll be strong
I'll do what I want
It's my life, not theirs
If its a mistake, its mine to make
I'm going to listen to my heart
Rid my mind of others
Then I'll decide on my own
Let my heart make its choice
So get out of my head
and let me live my life...
