opening air cuts thro the thickness of this fog
as the wind blows memories thro your head
the rain beats down on an unsuspecting heat
as the steam rises while the city sleeps instead

boldly indescribable
lonesome in desguise
a dark enchanted sky
a brightly stenciled sunrise

studying a perfect dream
while my imperfections sleep
repeating these emotions
and taking memories not yours to keep

boldly indescribable
lonesome in desguise
a dark enchanted sky
a brightly stenciled sunrise

but this time i wont give into your tempting words
as sweet as you've made them sound to this undying feeling
i still havent found why i let this happen and why im still not healing
you tore heart wide open and it seems that this love still hurts

timed these thoughts
rolled about in death
a love that fades with time
this love, at last, was never mine....
