Beaten and bruised
oh so harshly abused
He was lashed
tore His skin away
He was bashed
by their hateful fists

All humanity gone
spitefully spit on
by the people that once respected Him
now they hate Him
why are they doin this?

Tired and worn
battered and torn
it was Him they kicked
wanted Him to carry a tree
He wasn't able to
so they picked
another man to take the task

On a hill
lying still
didn't resist any
as they nailed Him to a tree
He suffered so many
things for you and me
He loves us so much
He gave His life
even loved such
who did Him wrong

He died
but,only lied
in a grave for three days
came back to life
can't even list all the ways
He suffered to save
His death was what
brought back to life
