with my head on your satin pillow,

with your arm around me,
warming my soul.
Synchronized breathing.
I feel your lips against my ear.
I sigh
and turn to you
looking up into your eyes
seeing love and passion.
Your lips
such a pretty shade of pink.
I smile at you
reaching my hands up
running my fingers
through your short hair.
I caress your cheek with my fingers. You tell me you love me
and I smile
and whisper it back to you.
I lay against your warm body
as you play with my hair.
