On bent knees
i look to the sky,
and search for an answer,
to why im here,
to why im put through all of this,
the answer to why im alive,
maybe something big,
hah, what a joke,
i am just your pawn,
you toy with me like a marionette,
pull my strings,
jerk me around,
put all these lies in my head,
about life being profound,
hah, thats a lie,
i figured that out fast,
i was suckered in,
but screw it,
theres nothing left anymore,
so im saying my goodbyes,
writing the final note,
making the final cut,
getting away from it all,
ending all the lies,
so all i have to say is,
goodbye.
