Cutters Friend

Seeing the cuts on your wrist,
Tear me apart,
Knowing the pain you suffer,
Brings tears to my eyes.

I was the one you told first,
You put that trust in me,
And at first it was lost,
But now I can really see.

All the hate that runs through,
All the sreaming matches,
That you go through,
Is crumbling your soul.

I know you need me more then ever,
But you like to push away,
I can't stand by any longer,
I cant let you live your life in sorrow.

But its not just the cutting,
Its your whole attitude,
Your such a great person,
But you have so much to lose.

You hide your inner beauty,
Behind a fake mask,
But I know if people saw you,
The would understand so much more.

So when the time is right,
I will stand and fight,
And even if we are no longer friends,
I will never let you go.

This is about my best friend who cuts herself and it makes me so sad that
sometimes I cry at night just thinking about her
