i know its long but please rate it!! :-P

Stars a shining, freedom calls,
To some of us but not to all,
Disguised and hidden within the night,
Shadowed by their silent fright.

Shallow freedom in hollow shells,
As each and every lone soul yells,
Waiting hopeful for the day,
When they hear the Dark Lord say:

“Be free my minions you have served me well,
No longer shall you suffer my icy chill,
So hand me your cloak dyed crimson red,
And set free the torment within your head.”

Lead astray by blackened tears,
Helped those hiding with their fears,
Chain bound spirits set free from death,
Yet these souls do not have time to rest.

Rivers of blood flow from their eyes,
As they take the burden of their cries,
But with each tear saved another one dies,
Dead to the world and set free to the skies.

Unseen by love they wait in vain,
Under the clouds and the pouring rain,
Waiting for the emptiness to be slain,
Waiting for the shadows to be drained.

And at last they hear the Dark Lord say:

“Set free those winds within your head,
No more your soul shall be drifting dead,
And in your eyes I see no more need be said,
Soar free to the skies from your cloak crimson red.”

And with these words the winds disappear,
And away they fly at last dry of tears,
Dreams now come true as they soar to the sky,
Served their time now at last they can fly.
