Don’t ask why
These big brown eyes
Look sad today I know
Because all you had to say was “no I don't love you”
But you just stood there
Told me you loved me
And said you meant it

How could you lie to me?
Like you did yesterday
You took my pain and made it disappear
When you looked at me and said
“I Love You and I Always will”
How could you tell me that and
Just disappear
Telling people what we had wasn’t real
How could you lie to my like that?
I thought you were better than that!
