I hope you never forget the way that I loved you
And they way I held your hand on our way home
With the feeling as though we were the only two
And we could really make it on our own
With the brush of the cold air running before us
And yet with nothing but rocks beneath our feet
But we were so caught up in our bittersweet mess
We couldnt hear their calls to retreat
And there will be no thanks in this
No you do not deserve a goodbye
It was the shell of you I truly kissed
Inbetween a lonely high
But lately you've been asking me how I have been
And I just think I should remind you
That your suble sorrys are lost on me
And the heart that both our blood used to run through
Is still quietly breaking...
