The Danger of "If"

The danger of if is simple, yet also sinuous...
It is the hope of the entire world, and dreaming of your kiss.

The danger of if is that it's so tempting; upon it we've become dependent;
for our very will to keep on living is if's descendant.

Those who wake up every morning, and participate in life,
are those who have "if" in their hearts, "if" lessens all their strife.

For if I had my dream job, I would have a ball!
And if you were to love me, then I would have it all.

So, I guess to conclude this, I'll say just one thing more:
Don't over-use your if's... but don't under-dream; because that's what we're
here for.
