Take away the sunshine
And the birds will never sing
They'll never fly around with passion
Never greet the coming spring
Take away laughter
And their silence fills the air
For a smile is to keep and
They'll be no use for living
If life just isn't there

Take away your pain
And you're left to fight your own
You'll lose the only feeling
That informs you you're alone
But take away your love
And your mind will recreate to collapse
The pain will drain the laughter
And you'll leave the sunshine
To breed in it's own relapse
