Lay your head [down]
Spawn a dream
May you think of life as written in the seams
Let your head caress that pillow
The day should be so long
Reminds you of that second glance
That never ending song
May you wake up, with the happiness,
That greets the morning sun and feel...
That this life is only [here] for you
Shining through
May you wake up, in a dream

Say goodnight
Sing a psalm
Lay out your bed and pillows - watch for the alarm
May you dream about the ocean
Back sweet lines to be sung
[Feel] the tide around your ankles
Displace your life (into the sun/out in the sun)
Feel the shivers, that are nestled in your spine...
They've been there all the time
[Are you] waiting for this call
may you wake up, in a dream

May you wake up, with the happiness,
That greets the morning sun and feel...
May you wake up, in a dream...

When i see you lying there
With droplets in your eyes
Tear (saturated/soaked) (pillow/pillows)
[No] need for that disguise
Put down [and] break up from this sleep
A world to believe...
To hold on, to a dream!

Lay down
Spawn a dream
To think of life as written in the seams
Let your head caress your pillow
Your day should be so long
Return for a second glance
To view where you belong
[Just] to wake up with all the happiness,
That's embraced the morning sun...
To feel that life, [with] no disguise,
Shining through your eyes
May you wake up...

...In a dream...
