One by one they disappeared,
Left me cold to cry,
But I look around and you’re still here,
And I know you won’t let me die.

You’re the only hope for my empty soul,
The one who hasn’t broken my heart,
So I thank you now but I’m still scared,
Scared of going back to the start.

Afraid you’ll leave me all alone,
While you live your life with a smile,
Scared you’re just like the others but I know I’m wrong,
For unlike them your heart is strong.

I’ll always miss them but they’re not worth,
The deep red bloody tears,
But for you I’d bleed right from my heart,
Because I’m just so glad that you’re still here.
